“Adam’s charming opera Le Torèador was given last evening, with Mlle. Naddie and MM. Vert and Anthelme in the cast. The sparkling work was well received, although it was necessary to offer an apology on account of the hoarseness of M. Vert. Previous to Le Toréador, M. Francis, a comedian of genuine creative power, sang a chansonette, and Mme. Rosa Saunier and the dramatic troupe enacted L’Amour, Que Qu’c’est Qu’ca?”

A beautiful, little opera well presented by Naddie, Anthelme and Vert.
