“A very fair audience assembled at this theater last evening to greet Miss Sophie Worrell on her benefit night, it being the fifth of the engagement of the Worrell sisters. Since the legitimate drama finds no expression upon the boards of any of our metropolitan theatres, it is but fair to say of the demoiselles Worrell that they present as attractive an entertainment as any place of amusement in the city. They sing very prettily. In the performance of Camaralzaman last night, they were frequently applauded and compelled to acknowledge more than one encore.”
