“Last evening Miss Sophie Worrell took her last benefit at this establishment, presenting for the occasion the great double burlesque bill which has for the greater part of the time of the Sisters’ engagement held the boards at this theatre most successfully.  Notwithstanding the storm the house was quite good; and the reception of the bénéficiare was most cordial, applause and floral tributes being liberally bestowed on her throughout the evening’s performance.  Miss Jennie and Irene were also well received, and made their ‘points’ with the usual éclat that results from their efforts on the stage.  The Worrell Sisters’ engagement will be concluded in the coming fortnight.  They will be succeeded by Barney Williams, who then begins a five weeks engagement at this house.”
