Review: New-Yorker Staats-Zeitung und Herold, 10 February 1867, 8.

The second sacred concert was much better attended than the first. The big hall was almost filled. The audience responded strongly to the program, especially the Oberon overture and Heinecke’s excellently executed trumpet solo. We are convinced that these Sunday concerts with their excellent programs and performances will establish themselves very successfully.
