“A concert was given last evening at St. Ann’s church at which Madame Gazzaniga, Miss Wells, Mr. Colliere and other artists assisted. Mr. Louis Dachauer, organist of the church, conducted on the occasion. The programme comprised favorite selections from the Italian school, and was in general satisfactorily given.  Madame Gazzaniga’s rich, telling, dramatic voice appeared to great advantage in an O Salutaris from one of Donizetti’s works, which she sang with Mr. Colliere. Miss Wells also sang admirably in La Fede, by Benedick.”
