“New and cheerful burlesques are announced by the San Francisco Minstrels this week, but on looking over their programme we see the ‘Shadow Pantomime,’ Black Crook’ and ‘Imitations of Actors,’ all of which have been given for a long time. But as long as old acts and sketches attract such crowded houses, as has been the case for many weeks, the managers are no doubt satisfied without producing anything new.”
