(…) An accident involving a small fire in the office of Mr. Gosche, the manager of the Academy of Music, which unfortunately caused significant burns to Gosche and a few accompanying boys, was used by the Herald to exaggerate the incident as a major safety issue for the entire theater. This was another attempt by the Herald to keep the audience away from the Academy, which utterly failed, as is proven by the continuously filled performances.
