“On Monday evening, July 22, Niblo’s Garden was so crowded that ladies were standing about the lobby, and the aisles filled with camp stools, and notwithstanding we had some very warm evenings last week, the attendance was quite large throughout. If business continues as good through the warm weather, the piece will no doubt run well into next season.”
