“For three weeks this favorite comedienne has appeared in a round of old characters, producing nothing new; yet she has attracted crowded houses. Her best performance is that of Fanchon, and it always draws larger houses than any of her characters. She has been admirably supported throughout her engagement by Mr. James Collier, who is a good actor, and a favorite not only in this city, but wherever he has appeared with Miss Mitchell. Maggie goes from here to Boston.”
