Bonfanti, one of the principal danseuses in the ‘Black Crook’ at Niblo’s Garden, re-appeared on the 14th inst., after being off the boards about two weeks. She was reported to have been sick. Several new dances have been introduced in the piece, one being the ‘Carnival of Venice,’ by Bonfanti. A grand carnival scene is in preparation, and will be introduced in the third act of this piece in place of the march, as soon as Lent is over. The attendance continues large.”
