“The second grand Easter concert took place at Steinway Hall with the co-operation of the following artists: J. N. Pattison, pianist; Madame Gazzaniga, prima donna; George Morgan, organist; G. S. Hall, basso, and Signor Ardavani, baritone. The programme comprised selections from Handel, Ricci, Donizetti, Rossini, A. Wood and Pattison. This programme was very creditably carried on in the leading pieces, and the organ and piano selections in particular were worthily rendered. The audience was rather slim in numbers, but nevertheless enthusiastic.”

“At the second grand Easter concert at Steinway Hall one of the features of the programme was the admirable baritone voice of Signor Ardavani. In the operatic morceaux which he sang every note evinced a true artist.”
