Although there was nothing new in the program, there were several outstanding performances. Bruch’s and Wagner’s pieces were executed with consistency and accuracy by both choruses. The orchestral pieces were well played under the direction of Bergmann. The event attracted a large audience. Despite the great heat, the audience members engaged in social dance after the concert.
