“Josh Hart and F., Williams will continue their representation of the burlesque on Lingard. Josh Hart does ‘Captain Jinks,’ the ‘Guinea Pig Boy,’ ‘Bitter Beer,’ and ‘On the Beach at Long Branch,’ in all of which he is very successful. He has got Lingard’s walk, business and style of singing down to a dot, and is not only very good indeed but more successful in the imitations than any one we have yet seen. Mr. Williams is not so fortunate. He does not in the slightest manner imitate Mr. Lingard and his impersonations of ‘Walking Down Broadway.’ ‘As thro’ the Park’ and ‘Old Hats’ are very common place.”
