“Notice – The director has the honor of announcing that the current week is the last week of the season of the French Opera at the Grand Opera House, in consequence of the scenic modifications that necessitate the production of The Tempete under the direction of M.C.W. Tayleure.  In giving this notice, the director addresses the sincerest thanks for the generous support given to his enterprise, and he hopes he can next give a new season of French opera in New York.  The company becomes [?grammar?] in the meantime, according to the terms of the contract, performing in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington."
