“Mr. Jerome Hopkins’ second concert, for the benefit of the fund, was held last evening at the Apollo Rooms, Twenty-eighth street and Broadway. There was an immense audience and the programme an entertaining one. The Orpheon Quartet Club was, of course, on hand and did its utmost to please. Mr. Hopkins played the piano solo, ‘The Wind Demon,’ in his usual way. Miss Frankau, who has a very pleasant soprano voice, sang two songs sweetly and was deservedly encored.”
