“It is claimed that Joyce Heth in breeches has hitherto (having control of living human phenomena and curiosities) kept Commodore Foote, his sister, Miss Nestelle and Colonel Small out in the cold, in other words, bought up those liliputians from exhibiting in New York against the Thumb party.  Manager Wood now presents the Foote party, who in point of intelligence and diminutiveness beyond any question of doubt, have never been excelled.”
