“The affair came off with great éclat at one of our down-town restaurants, and was a most enjoyable occasion.  Dr. Cutler, the accomplished organist and musical director of Trinity, the host of the evening, presided, supported by . . . a number of prominent organists and singers. . . . [T]he choir-boys sang some fine selections.”
