After returning from a short season in Philadelphia, Anschütz was going to produce Gustave III, "Auber's version of the historic incident of 'The Masked Ball.' Scene painters are at work with new decorations for Auber's celebrated opera, and it is rumored that there will be certain important additions to the vocal force of the company."
