“The singers of the North-Eastern Saengerbund had another rehearsal for the Baltimore festival, under the direction of Mr. Charles Anschuetz, at the Germania Assembly Rooms, yesterday. Chief among the songs rehearsed was ‘Das Kirchlein’ (The Chapel), by V. E. Becker, which will be sung by the New-York section of the Saengerbund at the festival. The other sections of the Saengerbund are that of Philadelphia and Baltimore.”
