“The mere announcement that those daring trapezists, the Rizarelli Brothers, would appear in a new serial breakneck act was sufficient to crowd the great wigwam last night from parquet to gallery. As per the programme the brothers did appear; but their performance was rather unexpectedly brought to abrupt termination by the elder brother miscalculating the distance between the bars of the trapeze and dropping like a chunk of beef into the net which had been judiciously spread beneath the performers to guard against the possibility of an accident… the gymnast was unhurt.”
