“Last evening the German Young Men’s Christian Association of New-York gave a concert in aid of the German evangelical Mission Society at Steinway Hall. The programme included selections from WEBER, MEYERBEER, ERNST and CHOPIN, and the performers were Miss FEININGER, Miss LUTZ and Messrs. CANDIDUS, BUSSMEYER, PINNER and others. Mr. CARL FEININGER acted as conductor. The performance gave satisfaction to a large audience.”
