“A vocal and instrumental concert was given at the hall of the Young Men’s Christian Association, Twenty-third Street and Fourth avenue, on Wednesday, the 16th inst. The programme, which consisted of familiar songs and pieces, was well rendered by Mad. Anna Bishop, Miss Charlotte V. Hutchings, Messrs. W. S. Leggett, J. B. Bartlett, John P. Morgan and Louis C. Jacoby. Miss Hutchings’ songs gave particular satisfaction and she was encored each time. The hall was well filled by an appreciative audience.”
