Program Details

The daylong event began at 10am with a “reunion” featuring “brief addresses.” Unspecified vocal and instrumental music and poetry readings seem to have begun at at 8pm. (It is unclear where in Apollo Hall this all took place, as there was also a Hibernicon performance there that evening [see separate event entry, 04/04/70].) Frederick Douglass was among the speakers.
