“Of all the summer resorts situated within the city, where one can pass a few hours of real, unalloyed enjoyment, the best, beyond doubt, is Terrace Garden. Since Berner took it in hand the garden has undergone many radical changes, and stands now without a rival. Mollenhauer’s fine orchestra and the Pauline Canissa opera troupe are the main attractions.”
