“A brilliant audience filled Chickering’s Hall last evening, on the occasion of Miss Henrietta Beebe’s second Soirée Musicale. The artiste was in good voice, and sang her numbers with her usual care and good taste. She was assisted by Miss Jennie Bull, always a pleasing contralto; by Mr. Fritsch, and excellent tenor, and by the Weber Quartet, which did itself great credit.

Miss Beebe is an artiste who is growing rapidly in public favor, and her warm reception last evening was but one of the evidences of it.”

Review: New-York Times, 21 April 1871, 5.

“Miss Heniretta Beebe, a young artist whose merit is quite in excess of that possessed by singers more frequently heard in the concert-room, gave the second of two very successful musical soirees at Chickering Hall, on Monday evening. Miss Beebe sang the jewel song from ‘Faust’ and the air from ‘Roberto,’ and repetitions of both pieces were exacted. The performers assisting her were Messrs. Fritsch, Beckett, Hill, Randolfi and Pirsson, and Misses Antoinette Sterling, Krebs and Bull.”
