“About one hundred people attended the fourth popular concert given at Association Hall yesterday by this excellent society. The attractions were Miss Maria Brainerd, Miss Sawyer, Mrs. Dr. Ayres, Wehli, Clarke, Remmertz, Schauffler, and the grand chorus of the Euterpe under John P. Morgan. The programme was made up of selections from Schumann, Verdi, Kucken, Mendelssohn, Hauptmann, Barnly and Wehli. These excellent musical entertainments are deserving of a larger share of patronage than what they have received.”

“The afternoon concert at Association Hall presented Mr. James M. Wehli, Miss Maria Brainerd, and the Euterpe Society chorus. It was better than the average of the winter’s entertainments at this place, but offered no opportunity for critical remark. The audience was of respectable size, considering the weather.”
