Review: New York Post, 23 January 1872, 2.

“The Sunday evening concerts at the Grand Opera House maintain their popularity. The fourteenth concert was given night before last, to a very large audience. The orchestral selections were well rendered, the extract from ‘Lucia’ and the ‘Hunting Chorus’ being most noticeable. Mlle. Aimée and Mlles. Castelland and de Try lent their assistance. The former sang an aria from ‘Les Dragons de Villars’ with exquisite taste, and the two latter executed a very difficult duo for violin and violoncello.”

“Miss Marie Aimée sang for the last time there, and Mlles. Castellan and De Try gave some excellent instrumental performances.”
