Description of the programme. “The keenness with which these minstrels satirize the evanescent sensations of the day, in stagelife and in the Press, is notable, and it is also praiseworthy. Valuable bits of common sense are wrapped up, not unfrequently, in the woolly colloquies and bad jokes of these extravagant farecurs, several of whom possess more than ordinary talent for amusing foreign individualities, and all of whom unite in diffusing the welcome glow of cheerfulness."
