Sanderson had played in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 23rd.  It was a very successful performance.

COMMENT: Announcement says this will be his first concert in New York City, but according to an earlier entry, he played a matinee concert with Gottschalk at Irving Hall on the 23rd.  Perhaps this means it’s his first concert in New York where he is the featured artist.
