“Mrs. Caroline Riching-Bernard’s Musical Union gave another of their costume concerts at Steinway Hall last evening, before a limited house. The part singing was excellent, and the few solos interspersed through the bill for soprano, tenor, harp, organ and piano were received with applause. Mrs. Bernard has good material in her Union, which practice together and diligence will undoubtedly lead to a position of eminence as a vocal organization.”

“The Caroline Richings-Bernard Musical Union had a concert last night at Steinway Hall, which was numerously attended. The excellence of the part singing was more strongly marked than at any of the preceding concerts.”

“The Caroline Richings-Bernard Musical Union gave a concert at Steinway Hall last night before a large audience. The programme was made up of part songs, very excellently rendered; selections by Mrs. Richings-Bernard and her husband, and harp and piano solos. Although not aiming at any high standard of art, these concerts are interesting in many respects, variety and ensemble being the principal feature.”
