“De Garmo Hall was well filled last night on the occasion of the second annual concert of Miss Maggie R. Parker. The selections were pleasing and popular, and the programme offered considerable variety.

Miss Parker, although slightly nervous, succeeded nevertheless in winning decided tokens of approval from the audience by her painstaking method and the sweet quality of her voice. She has been a close student for the past two years, and has made manifest improvement. Although she cannot yet be ranked as one of our best resident vocal artists, still she will always be heard with pleasure. She was acceptably assisted last evening by Mlle. Cassard and Messrs. Sohst and Fritsch, vocalists and by Mr. A. H. Pease, the pianist.”
