“…Frank Converse gave an exhibition of his skill in banjo-playing, proving that he has a wonderful command of that instrument. He performed a number of artistic variations on popular airs, sang songs with banjo accompaniment, and concluded by giving an excellent imitation of the Trinity bell-chimes, performing upon two swinging banjos at the same time. James W. McKee sang comic songs which had been hitherto heard at this theatre, but were nevertheless liberally applauded…”
