Review: New York Clipper, 12 September 1874, 190.

“…Miss Fannie Pierson, for some years an actress upon the dramatic stage, sang serio-comic songs which deserve high commendation. Her voice is a soprano—sweet, of much power, and thoroughly under control. Her costume was rich and tasteful. Miss Belle La Verde, who is on the threshold of womanhood, sang quite acceptably several serio-comic songs; Milly and Minnie La Verde, two little midgets, gave character songs-and-dances, which, considering their tender years, were very cleverly performed…Attendance large.”
