Explains that on 12/23/74 the theater was “again the subject of special police attention.” The police marched onto the stage with a warrant from Judge Sutherland and “arrested twelve women who had just been dancing the can-can.” Chaos ensued as the women tried to escape, but all were caught and spent the night at the jail on Prince Street.
