“Mr. Jerome Hopkins’ Eastertide concert for the Orpheon Fund, on Tuesday night, at Steinway’s, was another public exhibition of the originality and versatility of the concert giver, and was attended by a large and very intelligent audience. Miss Clementine Lasar’s and Mr. Gonzales’ songs, and Mr. Hopkins’ own fantasie on ‘Oft in the Stilly Night,’ were particularly applauded.”
