“This evening and every evening this week, entire change of programme. Drama, comedy, farce. Cast to the entire strength of the company.”
“The beautiful Olympic was well attended last week, the new programme . . . being a decided improvement on the previous bill, and attracting larger audiences. . . . Mrs. Wood has some good, and some bad people in her company. . . . Lotty Hough made her appearance, and at once became a great feature. Her ‘Yankee gal’ is about as clever a performance of that style of character as we ever witnessed. She made a great hit as Mehitable, and her song of ‘Josiah and his Sallie’ met with a hearty encore.”
