University, held last evening at Niblo’s Saloon, was largely attended, many not being able to obtain admittance…The music, under the direction of Helmsmuller, was given with usual excellence. Altogether, the affair was successful and expressive of the spirit of the society embodied in its motto, ‘Always to be Best.’”
