Review: New-Yorker Staats-Zeitung und Herold, 26 September 1864.
If these concerts continue to be so well attended, the proprietor, Mr. Falk, might look into changing the venue to a more spacious one for next season.  The orchestra is assembled of the premier musicians of the city, and they are as accomplished as their conductor, Carl Bergmann, who is hard to match in skill and versatility.  Yesterday’s program was quite interesting, and the concert was well attended.
