"Sold out event. Timm and Perabeau [sic] played tenderly and nicely throughout. Mr. Steins sang with heart and beautiful expression. Mr. Thomas, Mosenthal, Metzke [sic] and Bergner played Beethoven’s and Haydn’s pieces formidably. The men’s chorus’ performance was applauded enthusiastically; precision and accurateness dominated the performance. Mrs. Haag, Mrs. Paulitsch and Mr. Steins did the oratorio complete justice with their performance."
