At the Olympic, an old play with a new title, ‘The Streets of New York,’ has been given during the past week to crowded houses. It is said to be derived from the French, and bears in that language the name of ‘Le Pauvree de Paris’ (The Poor of Paris). It is a drama of the sensation school, and never fails to elicit thunders of applause from the delighted sightseekers.”
