“Mr. Gustavus Geary and Miss Mina Geary will swell the vocal strain in harmonious rivalry, and duly exalt the Harp of Old Ireland.  The voice of Geary was first heard in the land, if we rightly remember, in 1860.  It is a very good thing to hear for those who like to be amused.”

Sig. Blitz is drawing large and fashionable audiences to Hope Chapel. This week he adds to his entertainment Miss Mina Geary and Gustavus Geary, two very clever vocalists; J. N. Senia, performer on the wood and straw instrument; and the dwarf, Major Sidney. Mr. Blitz’s performances are very interesting, particularly that of his canary birds, which, at the word of command, perform feats that are really wonderful.”
