“A very large audience attended the grand birthday concert of this gifted child. . . . It is truly wonderful what a clear, beautifully modulated and highly trained voice ‘La Petite Florence’ possesses, and the manner in which she enters into the spirit of a piece as it breathes either pathos, gayety, patriotism or love. A duet by Bishop, which she sung with Master Ellard, was deservedly encored. The other artists acquitted themselves remarkably well. The last birthday concert of little Florence Reynolds will be remembered with pleasure by all who attended it.”
