     “The wretched weather possibly prevented that overflow which usually attends the representations of that popular opera.  Of the performance, there is nothing new to say.  Zucchi, Ortolani, Mazzoleni, Bellini, and the other artists, exerted themselves as successfully as heretofore, and received warm and deserved applause.  The chorus was good, and the orchestra under Carl Bergman [sic] was irreproachable.”
