“Meyerbeer’s great Opera, ‘Les Huguenots,’ will be given at the Academy of Music to-night for the last time. The cast embraces the most of the leading artists of the company, Carozzi-Zucchi, Adelaide Phillips, Mazzoleni, Bellini, Antonucci, Cairoli, and others. The opera now goes very smoothly, and Zucchi and Mazzolini [sic] are really grand in their respective rôles.”

Brief. “Academy of Music.—‘Les Huguenots’ was given last evening for the final time to a splendid house. The performance was good, and therefore requires no further mention.”

     Brief. “Academy of Music.

The ‘Huguenots’ was given for the last time this season last night at the Academy. The house was well filled, not at all crowded, by one of the most select, critical and appreciative audiences of the season, whose entire satisfaction was frequently manifested. The performance throughout was a decided improvement on the first one, although that was very good.”
