“’ONE HUNDRED YEARS HENCE’ is the title of a capital extravaganza vamped up by John F. Poole, and produced at Tony Pastor’s Opera House all last week. It affords Mr. G. F. McDonald an excellent opportunity to display his dramatic abilities, also Miss Frank McDonald, who are both clever performers. The rest of the characters were in the hands of the company, who did well. El Nino Eddie appeared in his daring and graceful performances on the tight rope. He is a very clever performer on the rope, and turns a somersault as easily and gracefully as did Blondin. Jennie Engel, Lew Brimmer, the Walby Sisters and a corps de ballet continue to add to the evening’s enjoyment of the Pastor establishment.”
