Carl Anschütz is said to establish a Conservatory of Music in New York. If it is meant to be an honorable institution and not simply for making easy money, we think it will be an enrichment for the city. We have sufficient accomplished teachers and hope Anschütz will begin to establish his enterprise as soon as possible.
