“A novel and interesting kind of musical performance has been initiated at the warerooms of Mason and Hamlin by Messr. Thomas, Mills, Mason, Bergner, and Warren.  It consists of arrangements of popular and classical compositions for the cabinet organ, pianoforte, violin, and violoncello, and takes place every Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock.  The performance at each of these reunions is what might be expected from the above mentioned artists—very good.  The audience consists primarily of ladies.”
