Wallack Sr.'s will is as follows: "To his eldest son, Mr. John Lester Wallack, the testator bequeaths the lease, fixtures, properties, &c., of the theatre known as Wallack's Theatre, in this city, situated at the corner of Broadway and Thirteenth street. This bequest is, however, subject to the continuous payment of £5 sterling per week to the testator's second son, Capt. Henry Wallack, of the British army. To Capt. Wallack he has bequeathed half his plate and the rents, incomes, and profits of his house on Fourteeth street. His estates at Long Branch are to go to Mr. J. Lester Wallack, and his money, bank stock, &c., are to be equally divided between Capt. Henry Wallack and his brother, J. Lester Wallack." NYC, 034/04/65, p. 374.
