“…A concert for the benefit of the Masonic Hall and Asylum fund took place at Steinway Hall last night, and was very successful. Mrs. Marie Abbott, soprano; Mr. J. Ernest Perring, tenor; Mr. J. R. Thomas, baritone; Morgan and Caulfield, the well known organists, assisted in the concert. The vocal part of the programme was with one exception ballad music alone, and very acceptably rendered. The organ selections were not particularly new, but nevertheless very acceptable. The attendance was about the same as at the Pauls entertainments at Irving Hall, and equally appreciative and enthusiastic.”

One line mention.  “Mr. James Caulfield has assisted at various organ concerts during the past season, with much acceptance.”
