“At Irving Hall there was an immense attendance. The concert was for the benefit of Mr. Lasserve, who, we trust will be substantially helped. The members of the Mendelssohn Orchestral Union were in full force, and played very well. The soloists were Mrs. Brookhouse Bowler, Mr. Bowler, Mr. Grimm [Gramm], (violin,) Mr. Harry Sanderson, (piano.) Mr. Levy, (cornet.).”

“Mr. Levy’s last appearance for the present at Irving Hall was made last night. His performance as usual was beyond criticism, and the room was crowded. He starts to-day on a concert tour, in connection with Mr. and Mr. Bowler, Miss Dora Harris, (a sister of Laura Harris,) and Mr. Edward Hoffman. The company is under the management of Mr. Charles Levy, late of the Academy of Music.”
